A Northeast Ohio auto dealership was disappointed with its typical 1%-2% return from a traditional direct mail effort and was searching to maximize the effectiveness of its marketing.
SOLUTION
We examined its historically strong March sales, considered economic effects of the pandemic, and immediately recognized an opportunity. As people were vaccinated, the country reopened, and consumers returned to normal life, many chose traveling by automobile before taking a plane. These factors presented an opportunity to implement our targeted strategy.
RESULTS
The payoff was huge! The dealership had their best March in company history by 115%! Over thirty days, our targeting, paired with their direct mail campaign, resulted in 44 matched car deals, or $1.1M in sales. The dealership saw its typical 1%-2% return on ad spend skyrocket by 14,151%!
